2024 Job & Networking Fair Campaign – Bellevue College

Overview

Role: Digital Marketing & Media Lead

As part of my role at Bellevue College’s Center for Career Connections, I developed and executed the marketing campaign for the 2024 Job & Networking Fair - one of the college’s largest annual events connecting students and the community with employers.

Results:

The campaign resulted in a 21% increase in event attendance (700 - 850) year-over-year, strengthening employer engagement and student participation.

Employers also provided overwhelmingly positive feedback regarding the high turnout and the preparedness of the attendees.

Key Campaign Elements:

  • Social Media Content:
    Created a series of countdown posts, employer spotlights, and student-facing tips across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn to build momentum and drive engagement.

  • Email Marketing:
    Designed and deployed targeted email reminders to students, staff, and the community, timed strategically to boost awareness in the weeks leading up to the event.

  • Website Updates & Banners:
    Optimized visibility by adding eye-catching alerts and resource pages on the college website, guiding users to registration and preparation resources.

  • Print & On-Campus Collateral:
    Designed flyers and signage to maintain visibility on campus, supported by timely classroom announcements and partnerships with student leaders.

  • PR & Outreach:
    Collaborated with the Bellevue College Marketing department to create a Press Release to officially announce the event to the community. Published the event to various community event calendars to maximize reach and awareness.
